Elite Media & Marketing (EMM), one of the world’s leading concert producers in the USA and Latin America announces “Odisea,” the first official world tour by urban Latin music phenomenon Ozuna. The USA portion of “Odisea” starts on May 26 and will reach over 25 US cities with more stops to be added. Tickets will go on sale for most cities on Friday, April 21st at various ticket outlets.
Ozuna is a true music maven and an online powerhouse with millions of followers. His rise to the top of the music charts has reached unprecedented proportions. Early this year he had six simultaneously charting tracks on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart. A rare achievement in the music industry that proves Ozuna is one of the leading players in urban Latin music, he earned his first Billboard Hot Latin Songs top 10 in 2017 with “Dile Que Tu Me Quieres” and is a finalist at the 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards in the Best New Artist category.
Ozuna was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a son of Dominican parents. His goal is to write positive and stimulating songs to encourage his fans to work towards their dreams, and he avoids using profanities in his lyrics out of respect for his daughters. As a child, he developed a great passion for the urban genre and began to write songs from the age of 12 and independently created music. Being a new artist in this digital era, Ozuna began to publish songs on YouTube. By 2015, “Si Tu Marido No Te Quiere” and “No Quiere Enamorarse” became viral hits, with more than 150 million views on YouTube. Requested by his fans, the songs also hit radio within Latin America, Puerto Rico and the United States. By 2016, Ozuna performed mass concerts in many countries becoming a worldwide idol among millennials. In March 2016, he released the remix “No Quiere Enamorarse” featuring urban superstar Daddy Yankee. The song immediately generated millions of views on YouTube. Ozuna also participated in “La Ocasión”, the first Trap Latino song to appear on the Billboard charts. The singer has collaborated with multiple artists. Ozuna’s mission is to help children without resources, he created a non-profit organization called Odisea Children, where young people will have facilities to study, play sports, and a better future.
Ozuna is currently promoting “Tu Foto” from his upcoming first solo album, titled “Odisea” where previous hits like “En La Intimidad” and “Te Vas” already have millions of views on YouTube and Spotify. With a growing digital presence, Ozuna has 3.6 million subscribers on YouTube and 3.1 million followers on Instagram; there is no doubt that Ozuna is one of the hottest musical acts today and promises to be a stellar icon.
